"Mommy!" you shouted, running into the living room. "MOMMY!!!"
Pepper dropped her book and ran over to you, thinking something had happened to you. "What? What is it? What's wrong?" She asked, looking you over in case you were hurt.
"There's a spider!" You shouted, pointing toward your room. You were only five, and spiders freaked you out. Something you'd gotten from your mother. "And Daddy's not here to kill it!"
Your mom picked you up, comforting you. "It's okay..." she said, perfectly calm since it wasn't where she could see it. "It's just a little-" she stopped, seeing a big spider lower down in front of her. "S..spider!" She took off, running down the hall with you in her arms. She rushed into the secondary lab, which Bruce had been using while he stayed here for a bit. "Bruce!" she shouted, not caring that she was right behind him.
Bruce flinched, nearly dropping the test tube in his hands. He sighed and put it down, turning to face you and your mom. However, his annoyed look turned more serious as he saw your panic. "Pepper? ___? What's wrong? Are we being attacked?"
"Th-there's a spider!" you whimpered. "It was on Bunny!" you frowned, not liking that you'd left your favorite stuffed animal behind. But that was the whole reason you'd gone to your mother, so she could get it back from the spider.
"And, now it's in the living room." Your mom added. "Or it's another one. I don't know. Just please kill it, Bruce."
Bruce sighed. "I can't. I'm in the middle of an experiment." he said. "Now, please leave."
Your mom frowned, still holding you. "But, I-"
"I'm sorry, but this is not something I can just leave unfinished." Bruce interrupted her. "Just ask Tony to do it."
"I'll just.. do it myself..." your mother said as she walked out. "I mean, how hard could it be?" she went to the kitchen and put you down, getting some paper towels to kill the spider with. You followed her to the living room, staying a bit back in case the spider had moved. And, of course, it had.
"Mommy, where'd it go?" you asked, looking around frantically. Just then, you felt something on your head. "MOMMY!" you shrieked, trying to hit the spider out of your (h/c) hair.
Your mom rushed over, braving her fear for your sake. She brushed the spider off you and stepped on it before it could crawl away. However, you were both surprised to see mechanical parts. "God dammit, Tony!" she shouted.
"No bad words, Mommy." you said, starting to giggle now that you knew it wasn't a real spider. "Is Daddy in trouble now?"
"Oh yea." Your mom nodded. "As soon as he gets home he-" She was interrupted by the front door opening. "Tony!" She marched over to him with you trailing close behind.
"Someone's excited to have me home." Tony said, grinning as he scooped you up. "What's up, Kiddo?"
"You're in trouble." you told him, giggling. "Mommy's mad 'cause you made a spider and we thinked it was real."
Tony paused a moment, confused. Then he realized and his eyes opened wide. "Pepper, you didn't..." he said slowly. "You killed it?! That spider was the biggest breakthrough in nanotech since... Well, since EVER! Do you know how powerful a spider's thread is? Much better than stitches, I can tell you. And you crushed it!"
"Well, you shouldn't have made it look like a spider!" your mom retaliated. "You know that we're BOTH afraid of spiders."
"Which was why it was supposed to stay safely in my lab. Why were you guys even in there?"
"I wasn't."
"I'm sorry..." you said quietly. "I was looking for you, Daddy... And I knocked the box off the table..."
"The whole box?" Your dad looked surprised and worried. "___, there were a dozen of them in there. Please tell me you didn't crush them ALL." He paused while you and your mom shook your heads. "Good. Then we just have to find them. C'mon!"
Without warning, you were being carried down to the lab. Pepper followed close behind, no longer afraid since they weren't really spiders. It took over an hour, but eventually you found all the spiders. By now, you were getting tired, so your mom took you upstairs for your nap. She tucked you in and read your favorite story until you were sound asleep.

With a chuckle, Steve stood up and held out his hand to the young Stark, who immediately grasped his much larger hand in hers.
“Well, better get you back to your room before your Dad finds out” he said as they began to make their way to the elevator, “Don’t worry, it will be our little secret.”
She looked at him in awe before she wrapped her arms around him in a hug. But no sooner did she hug him, did the sound of the elevator opening capture their attention.

Analyzer (Child!TonyxMother!Reader)
Tony was an analyzer, that much was apparent straight from birth. It made sense, being the son of none other than Howard Stark. But sometimes you wondered just what exactly was going through his little mind...
You were sitting at the computer with him in your lap, quickly checking your husband's emails for him. Nine month old Tony was staring at it intently, sizing it up, like he wanted to see if he could take it apart and rebuild it, only better. You chuckled and kissed his cheek, reverting your attention to the important email you needed to respond to. Just as you were getting close to being done with it, Tony decided to be the little shit
