You woke up, crying from your nightmare. You didn't get them often, but they were horribly scary when you did. You pushed on the button near your bed. "Daddy?" you whimpered through your tears, knowing the intercom linked to your dad's room. After all, you'd helped him install it and put stickers on it.
"Go back to sleep..." came a tired voice. But there was no way you could. "If you need water, you can just ask JARVIS."
"But I had a scary dream..." you whimpered. A moment passed as your father understood and he was in your room a moment later. He wasn't very muscular, like Uncle Steve or Dr Banner were, but he was strong and smart and he would protect you like he'd protected your mom.
"I guess you want me to stay with you once you're asleep..." he said, picking you up and sitting in the rocking chair you liked. He rocked with you slowly, and managed to fall asleep before you. You didn't mind though, as you drifted off soon after, feeling safe in his arms.

My second in the Nightmare series. I'm sorry this one was so short, but I didn't know how to make is longer. It's hard enough to see Stark as a parent as it is.

I would be that one annoying ass daughter that would push it every night at like 3 and be like "You still up? GO TO SLEEP ANTHONY!" tbh, he'd probably put me up for adoption after a month or two.
