Like Daddy - Father!Captain America X Child!Reader

You ran out of your room, giggling. "Daddy, look!" you called out, holding up the little shield that Uncle Stark had made you, as well as the red, white and blue costume.

  Your dad turned and smiled, seeing your costume. "Are you trying to be me?" he asked, picking you up. "Well, I think you look great."

  You squirmed until he put you down, running in circles around him. "I'm Daddy! I'm Captain 'Merica!" you shouted.

  Your father grabbed a stuffed animal, saying "Oh no. The evil Dr Rabbit is after you, Captain ___!" You chucked your plastic shield at the stuffed rabbit, missing completely. It would have hit the vase of flowers on the side had your father not caught it. "Careful, now." he said, tossing the little shield back to you.

 You caught it and ran over. "Roar!" you shouted, using the shield to whack the bunny. "I win~!" you giggled in delight as the bunny fell to the floor. "I'm a hero! Like Daddy!"

  You squealed as you were scooped up. "You're my hero." your dad said, carrying you into the kitchen for a lunch of grilled cheese and tomato soup.
