"I don't wanna go!" you whined, standing in the kitchen. You had on an outfit of your own choosing, which included your favorite (color) sweatshirt since it wad cold today.
Your father groaned and ran his fingers through his brown hair. He remembered you doing the same thing before preschool, though you probably didn't. "Why not, ___?" he asked.
"I wanna go back to preschool." you told him. Your complete seriousness made him want to take you less seriously than he already did.
"That's not answering my question." he crouched down to your height. "Why do you want to go back to preschool instead of kindergarten?"
"It's better." you told him, not wanting to say the real reason. You wanted to be brave like him, so you would never admit that you were scared.
"You don't know that." he told you, picking you up and sitting you on a chair. "You won't know until you get there. Now, why don't you tell me the real reason?"
"It's 'cause I'm scared..." you frowned, climbing back into your arms. "I don't wanna go, Daddy. Don't make me go."
Hearing your plea, he almost gave in. But he knew he just had to push you to go and that you'd love it by the end of the day. It wouldn't even be a full school day either, since kindergarten is only a half day. "Alright, here's what we're going to do." he said. He reached behind his neck and unclipped the little chain around his neck. Hanging from it was a little piece of metal from his first iron man. "You know what this is?"
You nodded, looking up at him. You were speechless, wondering what he was doing. He smiled and held it in front of you. "This is my good luck charm. It's kept me safe for a long time. Now, I'm giving it to you." He had you hold up your (h/c) hair while he put it on you. "Now, you think you can go to school with this?"
You nodded, knowing you'd be okay now. "Thank you, Daddy." you said, hugging him. "I love you."
He hugged you back. "I love you t- dammit we're late!" he scooped you up, grabbed your shoes and ran out the door.

My Hero || Father Captain America X Child Reader
You smiled as you climbed the big tree in your backyard, your (h/c) swaying in the wind.
“Careful (Name).” Your father called approaching the tree. There were perks to having Captain America as your father.
He gave awesomely fast piggy-back rides, he taught you how to play catch and throw a Frisbee, and he could throw you far into the air before catching you. You nodded and climbed to a fairly thick branch before sitting on it.
You were now a whole 6 feet off the ground, pretty good for a 5 year old. “When is Aunt Nat and Uncle Clint coming” You asked as your (e/c) eyes sparkled. “Saturday, do you know how man

“Miss?” a small voice asked, almost drowned out by the soft hum of noise around them.
“Yes?”
“Where are we headed to?”
“Director Fury’s office,” answered the woman in front of her, not looking back. Six year old (Name) looked up and tilted her head to the side in a questioning manner. The name ‘Fury’ was one she didn’t know but then again – she didn’t even know where she was.
Her (e/c) eyes slowly moved away from the agent and towards the other

With a chuckle, Steve stood up and held out his hand to the young Stark, who immediately grasped his much larger hand in hers.
“Well, better get you back to your room before your Dad finds out” he said as they began to make their way to the elevator, “Don’t worry, it will be our little secret.”
She looked at him in awe before she wrapped her arms around him in a hug. But no sooner did she hug him, did the sound of the elevator opening capture their attention.
Standing in front of the elevator, his brown eyes ablaze with anger, stood Tony Stark.
“Steve! Get away from my daugh
